About Bryn Stonehouse
Bryn Stonehouse became drawn to spiritual direction when it became an important part of her own faith journey several years ago. Since then, her hope has been to create the same safe space she was given to journey through, wrestle with, and celebrate the mystery of God together.
She completed a Certificate in Spiritual Direction through Southern Methodist University's Perkins School of Theology in 2026. In addition to being a Spiritual Director, Bryn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and currently serves as a School Social Worker in Abilene, TX.
She leads a university small group at her church, where college students hold a special place in her heart. She is also grateful for her time growing up overseas and the ways it exposed her to various cultures and faith traditions.
My Approach to Direction
We are not meant to live this life alone. It is an honor to step alongside others in their faith journey. I create a safe space where you can journey through, wrestle with, and celebrate the mystery of God together.

I welcome anyone seeking a safe space to explore their faith, especially college students, young adults, and those navigating life transitions or cross-cultural faith experiences. If you are looking for someone to walk alongside you in your journey with God, I would be honored to be that companion.

In our first meeting, we will get to know each other and explore what has drawn you to spiritual direction. This is a no-pressure space to share as much or as little as you would like.
